overview
Currently, in many parts of the world, including Japan, there is a shift from a society based on permanent residents (settled society) to a society based on non-settled residents, such as those who migrate or live in multiple locations (mobile society). As a result of this shift, contact zones where diverse languages and cultures mix have become apparent on a global scale, and the inheritance of language and culture and multicultural coexistence have become social issues. Educational settings are also being called upon to design education that takes into account language accessibility, diversity and inclusion. In this research, as an attempt to respond to such social issues, we propose a dynamic, creative and inclusive "connecting" language network, and conduct theoretical research, survey research, applied research and the formation of an international research network.
